Each computer has a default printer assigned to it, usually the one closest to the PC. You will see the name of the selected printer displayed when you try to print.
If you would prefer to print to a different printer, select an alternate printer from the list in the drop-down box. In Chrome, click "See more..." to see the full list of additional printers.
The most common reason for a job not printing is that you tried to print to a paper size other than 8.5" x 11". Error "016-911" is usually displayed on the printer when this happens. Go back to your computer and change the paper size to 8.5" x 11", then try again.

Your job may also fail to print if you do not have enough funds in your Papercut balance to cover the cost of the entire job.
The Xerox printers are set by default to print in black and white. To change this in most apps and programs, go into the "Printer Properties" and change the "Xerox Black and White" setting to "Off (Use Document Color)".

For Chrome, you must change this setting in two places, once in the "Color" setting, and once in the printer properties. Click "More Settings", then "Print using system dialog...", then "Preferences". This will take you to the Xerox printer properties

Sometimes it can take a long time for a job to print, especially if there are several jobs ahead of it in the queue. Don't try to resend the job until you have checked to see if your job is in the print queue.
To check your job's status, right-click the printer icon on the taskbar.
The list of jobs waiting to be printed will be shown. If a job in the print queue shows an error, please notify a staff member at one of the service desks so they can check the printer for problems.
For additional printing help, ask for assistance at one of the Library's service desks.
