YES! WE ARE HERE AND ARE FILLING REQUESTS FOR MATERIALS AVAILABLE IN ELECTRONIC FORMATS.
- Since most libraries have closed their buildings, we cannot fill requests for physical materials such as books and media. However, we can request research articles and materials available in electronic format from other libraries as usual.
- You may continue to request scans of book chapters or other physical materials. New scanning of print materials isn't possible until libraries, including ours, resume physical operations. If electronic access of these materials is possible, we will fulfill these requests as quickly as possible.
ABOUT BOOKS AND MEDIA
- OCLC has placed a system-wide, 20-day hold on physical material requests. So at present, we cannot immediately fill requests for physical materials such as books and media. This delay may be extended as events progress.
- Please feel free to submit Interlibrary Loan requests for print materials as normal. We recommend that you also save the item citation and resubmit your request after the University has reopened.
Please keep in mind that our ability to fill requests is limited, and that turnaround time will certainly be longer than usual. Once universities begin to reopen their buildings and libraries resume their shipments, your requests will be processed.
